Communication machines reproduce information about people, their existence, their presence all hermetically sealed in one era. With the death of the machines, their stories die as well. The stories of unfulfilled human pursuits and messages to future generations disappear in the recordings' entropy. What saves us from the unrelenting river of oblivion?
